Dr. Susan Martin engages with clients and key opinion leaders to effectively and clearly communicate research results and medical information across a variety of formats. She provides oversight for the development of traditional print and electronic publications, systematic literature reviews, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and Medical Science Liaison presentations. She also partners with clients to develop publication plans, strategic communications platforms, lexicons, and advisory boards.

Susan has experience in the therapeutic areas of pain management, neurology, diabetes, hematology, oncology, dermatology, and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. She has managed publication activities across the entire lifecycle of pharmaceutical drug development, including health economics and outcomes research. She maintains knowledge of the therapeutic area related to the product indication, including current clinical practice guidelines and the latest treatment breakthroughs.

Susan received her PhD in chemistry from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville; her research centered on bioanalytical chemistry. She worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Furman University in Greenville, SC, and then as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Susan has worked in the medical communications and publication planning field for nearly a decade and has her Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) credential through ISMPP.
